Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Operated by: 9536-7876 Québec Inc. (Aligne).

This Privacy Policy explains what information Aligne collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1.Accounts and authentication

When you create an account we collect the information needed to authenticate you and operate your workspace. This includes your email address, a display name, and the authentication credentials managed by our identity provider, such as a password hash or Google sign-in identifier.

We use this information to sign you in, restore sessions, send security-related messages such as email confirmations and password resets, and associate your activity with the correct workspace.

2.Workspaces and membership

Aligne organises work into workspaces. When you join or are invited to a workspace, we store your membership, role, and name and email address so other members can see who has access. Workspace owners and admins can view the member list and manage roles.

3.Flow documentation and communication content

The flows, nodes, notes, annotations, and communication content you create in Aligne are stored so they can be displayed, edited, and reviewed inside your workspace. Communication content may represent any communication type supported by Aligne.

Access to this content is limited to authorized workspace members who have permission to access the relevant content or flow. Communication content stored in Aligne is intended for documentation and review. Aligne does not send these messages to end recipients on your behalf.

4.Comments and collaboration

Comments you leave on flows or nodes are stored with your identity so collaborators know who said what. Comments are visible only to authorized workspace members who have permission to access the relevant flow.

5.Product usage, analytics, and diagnostics

We collect basic usage information needed to operate the product reliably. This includes server and application logs such as request metadata, error reports, authentication events, and limited diagnostic information about your device and browser. We use this information to keep the service running, investigate problems, and protect against abuse.

Aligne also uses third-party analytics and diagnostic tools, currently Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how the product is used, improve the experience, diagnose issues, and maintain reliability.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you create in Aligne to train publicly available third-party AI models.

6.Cookies and similar technologies

Aligne uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, remembering preferences, and analytics. Disabling cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the product.

7.Email communications

We send email for account and product purposes, such as confirming your email address, resetting your password, delivering workspace invitations, and communicating service-related notices. Account, security, and other transactional messages are required for the operation of your account and cannot be opted out of. Optional product communications, where offered, include an unsubscribe option.

8.Service providers

Aligne relies on infrastructure and platform providers to host the application, store data, send email, and manage authentication. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments to operate the underlying infrastructure, prevent abuse, maintain security and diagnostics, and meet legal obligations.

For paid subscriptions, Paddle.com Ltd. acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payment information, including checkout, billing, invoices and receipts, tax/VAT and sales tax compliance, refunds, payment disputes, and fraud prevention. Aligne does not store full credit card or payment instrument details.

9.Data retention

We retain account information and workspace content for as long as the associated account or workspace remains active. Residual copies may persist for a limited period in backups, logs, and operational systems, and we may retain information as required to meet legal, security, or accounting obligations.

10.Your choices

You can update your profile information from within the product. For other privacy requests, including questions about the data associated with your account or workspace, please contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law. You can also reach us directly at support@getaligne.com.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the product or by email.
