    October 2026 release

    Introducing the Journey Health Assessment, a free interactive diagnostic that helps teams evaluate how effectively they document, execute, collaborate on and maintain their customer journeys.

  2. September 2026 release

    Structured flow import arrives in Aligne, making it faster to bring existing journeys into the product, and journeys can now carry the screens customers see and supporting links.

    New

    • Spreadsheet flow import — Import structured flows from Excel using Aligne's workbook format. Steps, connections, decisions, waits, tags, and attached communications are created from the spreadsheet and laid out automatically on the canvas.
    • Product Screens on journey nodes — Attach the screen customers see at any step of a journey and view it directly on the canvas. Open the full screen for a closer look, and upload a new capture whenever the experience changes.
    • Screen History — Older captures are automatically preserved, including the date the screen represents and who uploaded it. On the Team plan, review previous captures in Screen History to understand how an experience has changed over time.
    • Links on journey nodes — Attach relevant links directly to journey nodes, keeping supporting product context alongside the journey itself.

    Improved

    • Automatic import layout — Imported flows are automatically arranged on the canvas, including branching decision structures and attached communications, reducing the amount of manual positioning required after import.

    • Import scale and validation — Spreadsheet imports now support up to 500 steps and 2,000 total data rows, with stronger validation for malformed workbooks, duplicate step IDs, invalid references, unsupported step types, unsafe URLs, formulas, and unsupported workbook content.

  3. August 2026 release

    The first entry in Aligne's public changelog: public workflow sharing, a new Resources hub, and the start of a running product history.

    New

    • Public workflows — publish a finished workflow to a permanent URL, embed it in documentation or websites, and let viewers create their own editable copy with Use as template.
    • Publication analytics — see views, unique visitors, and template copies for every published workflow.
    • Resources hub — a growing collection of articles about operational workflow design, prerendered for search engines and AI discovery.
    • Changelog — a running record of new features, improvements, fixes, and announcements.

    Improved

    • Learn navigation — Resources, Docs, FAQ, and Changelog are now grouped under a single Learn dropdown, making the marketing site easier to scan.
    • Public documentation — Docs, FAQ, and llms.txt were expanded to describe Aligne's publishing, embedding, templating, and analytics capabilities.

    Fixed

    • Public sharing reliability — published workflows now render correctly in embedded frames, draft status reliably retires the public URL, and cloning a public workflow respects workspace flow limits.
